MS Parent Teacher Conference Booking Information

Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC’s) are scheduled to take place from 1:00-6:00pm on the following three afternoons:   Monday October 16th (Zoom only), Tuesday October 17th (Face-to-face on campus only), and Wednesday October 18th  (Face-to-face on campus only)

Students will finish lessons for the day at 12pm. 


As in previous years, we use an online reservation system.   The system will go live on Monday October 2nd at 1:00pm, at which time you will have access to the MS PTC Scheduler icon in the Parent Portal.

If you have not yet set up, or forgotten your SSO ISM gmail account, please email help@ismanila.org. Please note that pop-up-blockers should be turned off to allow access to the PTC Scheduler.

Technical Support: If your PTC will be on Zoom, before your conference, you should download the latest version of Zoom software and test your Audio connection:

If you have two or more children in Middle School you will automatically see names at the top left-hand side of your booking system so you can easily switch children to make bookings.

Make a Booking

Schedule a booking time by selecting 'Book' next to each course. 

Available time slots for each PTC day for that individual teacher/course will be shown for you to choose from.

Select a Day and Time

Select one of the available time slots on your chosen day for the selected teacher.  

You must click 'Book Now' and then select 'Confirm Book Now'.

After you have clicked the “Book Now” button, our system will process the data that you have entered.  Please wait while your booking request is confirmed by our system. This can take up to 30 seconds at times of high user traffic.

Scheduled PTC's 

Your scheduled bookings will be listed with the Zoom Meeting link and the option to delete the conference if you need to modify your time or day.

Reminder. If you choose to delete a scheduled booking it may no longer be available from the booking schedule.

Pre-entered Bookings

If you see pre-entered bookings, this means that a teacher has requested a priority conference in advance. If this is the case, feel welcome to edit the time and day of the requested conference but please do not delete it.

Confirmation Email

A confirmation email will be sent Friday October 13th after 4:00 pm. The MS office will be unable to make new bookings or changes after this time so it is important you make all bookings prior to Friday Oct 13th at 1:00pm.

  

In an effort to help facilitate the smooth running of our MS PTCs, take note lessons will finish at 12 noon. 


TIPS FOR PTC CONFERENCES 

Identify yourself: If on Zoom on Monday Oct 16th ensure your Zoom name identifies you as the parent of your child (E.g. “Amanda Pekin”, or “Alex’s mother”, so that the teacher knows which parent is in the waiting room and which to admit for the next conference.

Be on time: For Zoom conferences on Monday October 16th open your Zoom   1-2 minutes before the prescribed time for your conference, click on the Zoom link provided in the email that you will receive on October 13th.

End on time: Finish the meeting with your child’s teacher at the end of the 10-minute session – there will be other parents waiting immediately after you to meet with this same teacher.
